The cancer-flow programme is the part of the
interstitium literature with the
clearest clinical-translational pull. PEGPH20 (pegylated
hyaluronidase) trials in pancreatic cancer, antiangiogenic
agents repurposed as IFP-lowering agents, lymphatic-targeted
vaccine platforms — these are direct downstream applications
of the
Heldin and
Swartz reviews and have driven
substantial pharmaceutical-industry funding. The reading
should weight commercial entanglement against empirical
claims accordingly.
